ABOUT AMY BASSETT
I am a Solutions Planning Account Executive at WPP Media supporting the execution of client briefs to ensure the smooth delivery of advertising campaigns across a variety of global markets. In April 2025 I completed my degree at the University of Greenwich, studying Advertising & Digital Marketing Communications. In my final year I opted to complete a consultancy project creating a marketing strategy for the Royal Greenwich Heritage Trust and achieving a grade of 84%(First Class). From June 2023 - July 2024 I completed a year in industry as a Digital Marketing Placement at Kenvue (formerly Johnson & Johnson Consumer Health). This was an extremely rewarding endeavour which has greatly expanded my professional marketing knowledge. During my second year of university I completed a three-month internship with Bad Orange PR as a PR and Influencer Marketing Intern, which I took on alongside my studies. My responsibilities included client outreach and content creation. Additionally, during my second and final years at university I was Social Secretary for the University of Greenwich Hockey team, a role which included organising weekly social events and running the teams Instagram and TikTok accounts. In my second year I was also a Social Media Assistant for the Marketing Society, where I created posts on various marketing topics for the societies Instagram account. I previously completed my GCSEs at Millfield school in Street, Somerset, and then went on to achieve A Levels in Media Studies, Music Technology and Theatre Studies at Hurtwood House, Surrey.
