ABOUT AMY WILDGOOSE

Head of Creative Studios for National Museums Liverpool, leading the design and production teams to deliver an ambitious exhibition programme across our 7 venues. Previously freelance stage manager with over 13 years experience in many different stage management roles in theatre and events. Productions include multi-disciplinary and immersive shows, multi-platform and cross format, UK and international touring, musical theatre, new writing, regional theatre, festivals and events. Alongside my professional practice I also regularly worked for the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama supervising their stage management and technical theatre students, was temporary Stage Management Tutor at Sharjah Performing Arts Academy in 2023, and am course leader for online SM training at The Bamboo Manager Project. In 2022 I was awarded Honorary Associate of Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama for achievements in early career. I am an experienced show caller including large scale and complex productions such as Kan Yama Kan; a piece of new work produced for the Riyadh festival 2022, and for one off private/corporate events. In addition to theatre I have screen experience, such as for the BBC in various roles in the Locations Department for Continuing Drama Series: CASUAL+Y, Production Manager for a short film by National Youth Arts Wales and adapting my skills for a hybrid role as 1st AD/Senior Stage Manager for Unboxed’s GALWAD, broadcast to Sky Arts.
