ABOUT AMY UNDERDOWN
I am a dynamic, adaptable, high achieving corporate events professional, who is a successful event consultant. I am experienced in end-to-end events management in fast paced corporate environments and virtual conferences. Some of my exciting professional highlights are: • Turned the most senior energy event in Europe, Aurora Spring Forum into a virtual event on the first day of lockdown, with 6 days turnaround. This included engaging with some of the highest senior energy industry leaders including CEO’s from E.ON, Centrica, EDF, Drax Group and The Minister. • Project managed Unilever’s eCommerce Town Hall and Recognition Award Ceremony virtually, which included 700 attendees, 45 individual video submissions and 15 different time zones. • Founded the Oxford Events Industry group, quoted as “a lifesaver during a global pandemic. We wouldn’t have been able to continue our business without the support Amy has provided through this engaging and positive platform.”In my (small) life outside of the events world, you can find me cycling across the south of France or running marathons. In 2017, I completed a 750-mile cycle across France in 7 days with my dad. In 2018, I ran the Brighton Marathon and the London Marathon on consecutive weekends. I’ve been told I have a friendly personality with an infectious laugh and I always have a positive outlook on life.
