Personable and self-motivated, Amy fosters strong relationships and remains passionate about working alongside people to make sure they understand available resources and tools. As a leader at Follett, she prides herself on identifying potential and developing emerging leaders. Amy enjoyed tremendous success in rolling out Follett ACCESS across a large region, so much so that Follett created a position for her to guide regional managers through conversations about Follett ACCESS. Previously, Amy served as Academic Programs Manager and Regional Manager, delivering on Follett’s mission to serve customers and improve access and affordability of textbooks across 1100 campus stores. She expanded Inclusive Access programs while delivering course materials across hundreds of stores to millions of students. Her operational leadership experience includes overseeing up to 45 stores and a volume up to $60M per year. She led teams across multiple states, building relationships with campus partners and executive leaders. Amy has been selected for focus groups and large-scale initiatives, including opening 9 stores in 2 weeks spread across Texas. Amy created and delivered store manager training while overseeing retail operations across 43 stores for Nebraska Book Company, later purchased by Follett and bringing Amy back to the Follett organization where she originally started as a store manager. Earlier, Amy managed multiple General Nutrition Centers. Throughout her career, Amy has tapped into her entrepreneurial spirit, owning a personal training business, a fence company, and now a donut shop called Mountain View Donut Factory. As an active member of her local Chamber of Commerce, Amy coordinates events on behalf of the chamber. She also formerly led projects in partnership with Village of Hope Africa, raising $32k to build two schools and wells in Gulu, Uganda. Amy has earned a number of performance and impact awards.
