ABOUT AMY TURCI

I am a Board Certified Specialist in Labor and Employment Law and focus my practice on representing small, large, and market leader employers in the retail, logistics, and construction industries. I litigate employment cases in state and federal courts as well as advise employers on various issues including federal and state anti-discrimination statutes, the Fair Labor Standards Act, and the Family and Medical Leave Act. I also regularly conduct management training on developments in various employment and labor laws.I serve as the Chair of FordHarrison\'s Construction Practice Group. I am a Board Member of Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc, Florida First Coast Chapter, and served as the 20••••18 Chair for ABC\'s Women\'s Council. I additionally serve on ABC\'s Governmental Affairs Committee, and am involved with the legislative efforts of ABC at the state and national levels, including serving as a Board Member of ABC State of Florida and Board Member of ABC National.I am a committed volunteer for the March of Dimes, having been a member of the Circle of Champions since 2010, a member of the Board of Directors since 2012, and serving as Board Chair for 20••••16; I have additionally served on both the March for Babies Executive Committee and Signature Chefs Auction Committee, as well as serving as the Chair of the Signature Chefs Auction for 2012 and 2017.Specialties: Discrimination, Harassment, Wage and Hour/FLSA, FMLA, Management Training
