ABOUT AMY TIDOVSKY

Executive advisor with deep experience in environmental and conservation philanthropy, campaigns, strategic planning, program execution, board development, and governance. Skilled communicator, facilitator, and manager within complex systems. Committed to an equitable, inclusive environmental movement. Working at the intersection of philanthropy and conservation since 1997, Amy provides curated advisory services both to organizations and philanthropists. Her affiliation is first and foremost to nature and humanity, and she offers professionalism, honesty, integrity, close partnership, and commitment to those who seek the same. Prior to her work as an independent consultant, Amy held senior and executive philanthropy roles over nearly 25 years at The Nature Conservancy, including as Director of Development in North America, where she provided leadership on fundraising for climate and biodiversity, policy and public funding outcomes, originated a regional board, and elevated engagement of volunteer leadership across the organization. More recently, she served as Vice President of Development for the E.O. Wilson Biodiversity Foundation, fundraising to realize the vision of the Half-Earth Project, which was seminal to the historic commitment of 190 countries to protect 30 percent of biodiversity by 2030. She is proud to be married to a leader in the conservation field and mother to adult children working in the environmental and animal welfare sectors. In addition to conservation, she is passionate about social justice—especially immigrant rights—an independent and robust press, music education and performance, and literature.
