About Amy Thompson
The hallmark of my career has been fast upward career progression in a top company-Barista to Region Director (7 positions) in 14 years. The scope of my work encompasses multi-location operations management, workforce/talent management, and human resources. What makes me successful is my ability I rally cooperation. I\'m a role model who can cast a vision that ignites motivation and collaboration, energizing the workforce to join together as a team and move toward a common goal. Most recently, I spent nearly two years transforming operations and facilitating cultural change for 250 convenience stores, food service, and quick-serve restaurants in 5 states. I am adaptable, comfortable with ambiguity, decisive, and tenacious, able to tackle complex issues, develop a cohesive plan forward, and quickly move to execute it. In one year, I hit the EBITDA target and achieved 5% same store YOY growth over all 250 locations while lowering expenses and reducing shrink. I also moved 18 of the 20 lowest-performing stores into positive EBITDA in the 1st year.I am known for having a well-developed EQ and a knack for saying or asking what everyone is thinking in a way that is well-received. With an open mind, I approach challenges through a collaborative lens, asking the hard questions and allowing everyone to have a voice. Through clear communication, working with transparency, and respecting the diverse perspectives, knowledge, and experience of others, I bring everyone onboard to champion organizational efforts.People and culture are the backbone of business, and if they don\'t work, the business suffers. As a transformational leader, I coach, nurture, train, and develop my team while encouraging them to think relentlessly about what\'s possible. They should never be satisfied with the status quo. I empower the team to dig deep to identify and solve problems that we didn\'t even know existed—the kind of problems that, like a slow leak, you don\'t notice until it\'s too late.Throughout my career, I have delivered growth and profitability through operational excellence, sustainable solutions, and programs that impact performance and results across the organization. I have consistently exceeded expectations by delivering outstanding bottom-line results in every position I\'ve held, and I\'m ready to move on to my next challenge.Business Operations | Human Resources | Team LeadershipSales & Profit Growth | P&L Management | Change Management Project Management | Budget Planning | Process ImprovementPerformance Management | Regional Retail Management Vendor Relations
