ABOUT AMY TEECE

Amy has experience in advising on the regulation of insurance firms, including the application of the requirements under Solvency II and the application of Financial Conduct Authority (‘FCA’) and Prudential Regulation Authority (‘PRA’) Rules and guidance.She has advised on the regulation of insurance intermediaries as under the Insurance Distribution Directive (‘IDD’), and in respect of the requirements for insurers and other entities under the FCA’s Senior Managers and Certification Regime (‘SM & CR’).Amy has also advised (re)insurance undertakings and intermediaries in respect of the regulatory impact of a Hard Brexit and the FCA’s Temporary Permissions Regime (‘TPR’).Her experience also includes advising on, negotiating and drafting commercial contracts and insurance related agreements and arrangements including policy wordings, appointed representative agreements and delegated authority agreements.Amy is also experienced in contentious insurance and commercial disputes, having acted in respect of property damage, construction and product liability claims. She has a particular interest in cyber insurance and insurtech and has delivered training regarding affirmative and non-affirmative cyber insurance to a number of large international insurer clients.
