About Amy Tang

I see the world as an elaborate collage – a place where creativity strikes in many unexpected ways. Inspired by the world around me, I aim to create new ideas for innovative design. Creative use of color, an eagerness to conquer challenges, and a desire to enjoy every piece complete my recipe for a successful project. I have a strong eye for detail while being able to maintain the larger brand picture. I enjoy a creative challenge and is able to lend my experiences to a multitude of design projects ranging from branding, print and web design. I am an optimistic person who can adapt to changes and can work well in teams. I am currently looking for my next challenge in the Bay Area.Many of my projects have included working as a part of a team to creating innovative solutions to design problems on deadline. I’ve covered from revamping graphics for a department to designing using a new material to designing for the visual impaired. My team conducted market research, benchmarking, color studies, sketches, made physical and digital models, and 3D printed said models. For preliminary research, we acquired company background and project needs, conducted interviews with target users, and our team presented the research, models, and solutions to the client.
