ABOUT AMY TALIAFERRO

As a J.D. Candidate at Wake Forest Law, I’m a motivated learner and love finding solutions to problems. I have extensive research experience in psychology, psychiatry, and the legal field. Through working with teams and experts on a number of different projects, I’ve become familiar with collecting and distilling sources into succinct summaries to communicate meaningful findings. I am particularly interested in health law and policy research. During my time at Wake Forest, I also completed a business immersion program including coursework in marketing, accounting, operations, Excel, and finance through the WFU School of Business. Throughout my college career, I’ve stepped up to many leadership positions, where I gained experience in directing teams, managing funding, and organizing events. I acquired and managed more than as treasurer of my acapella group to fund annual operations, including the release of an album to Spotify and Apple Music. As facility manager for my 250-member sorority, I organized on-campus community housing arrangements and facilitated a large-scale renovation of an on-campus lounge. I enjoy finding efficient ways to run projects and accomplish goals, and I hope to bring these skills to organizations I work with in the future.
