I am a Managing Associate in the Commercial Litigation group, specialising in construction, engineering and rail disputes. Dispute Resolution Procedures - I have extensive experience of a range of dispute resolution procedures including arbitration, litigation, adjudication, ADR and rail industry procedure. Dispute Avoidance - I have a great deal of experience of advising parties in navigating the path to avoidance of a formal dispute resolution procedure (e.g. by way of settlement of a dispute), and of advising parties as to the strength of their legal position as part of that process. Construction Disputes - I have a breadth of experience in advising players in the construction industry (including employers, contractors, subcontractors, project managers and investors) in resolving international and domestic disputes. Rail Disputes - I have extensive experience in advising parties to rail contracts (including franchise agreements and access contracts) in relation to the avoidance and management of disputes, from which I have developed specialist knowledge of the industry Access Dispute Resolution Rules. Technical Disputes - I have particular strength and experience in advising in relation to technical disputes, including developing an understanding of technical construction and rail matters and working with financial and industry experts who may be required to support such disputes.
