As a Tax Partner based out of PwC’s Detroit office with decades of experience and a broad range of tax technical expertise, I focus on tax efficiency and risk mitigation for both large multinational companies both public or privately held. I serve as the Lead Tax Partner for a diversified range of companies in manufacturing, financial services, private equity, and other service companies, I lead specialty tax services, and take a strategic focus on optimizing the tax profile of my clients. I am the direct project leader for teams delivering US federal income tax planning, accounting for income taxes services for reporting financial statements filed with the SEC, income tax compliance, and controversy support services.Beginning in July 2021, I am the Office Leader for PwC Detroit where I focus on building relationships with our clients, serving the broader non-profit community and local businesses, and leading our people and office.Currently, I support the Industrial Manufacturing and Automotive sector for tax, connecting the network of clients and service teams. I co-host an annual Senior Tax Executive Roundtable to connect companies’ top tax leaders in the US automotive industry to discuss current issues and trends in the global automotive industry.While the firm’s Greater Michigan Tax Accounting Services leader, I assisted companies with both US GAAP and IFRS reporting issues. For many years, I organized an annual Tax Accounting Executive Roundtable for public companies\' tax directors in order to share technical insights, trends in SEC reporting, and discuss other key issues in accounting for income taxes.
