About Amy Siu

Currently seeking a roles in full stack engineering, project management, product management, or hybrid roles blending these strengths. Full stack software engineer with close to 2 years of front end and backend experience, over a decade in healthcare, and 3 years of project management and medical education. I began learning basic Python to build clinical simulations, formalized my front end engineering skills at Turing, and applied them while learning back end in production at KEYSYS. I\'m driven by continuous learning, collaboration, and delivering impactful solutions for clients and the systems they rely on. I am Vermont born and daughter of a first generation immigration family where at the age of 10, took on family responsibilities both at home and at our family restaurant. I developed my work ethic and core values from my background. I value being accountable and reliable, learning new things, and creating and building on systems and processes that make things more accessible and efficient for others. Outside of work, I value building my community and enjoy the outdoors. I currently volunteer for Unlikely Riders BIPOC mountaineering sport events with the goal of learning wilderness first aid training, and signed up to volunteer for Frank ideas to learn more about marketing.
