ABOUT AMY SINGH

I am a business builder and growth leader with over 25 years of experience guiding companies to increase profitability and manage risk. I currently serve as CEO of stellasconfectionery.com, an award-winning, woman-owned chocolate, toffee and caramel company. Stella’s has won 29 global awards, including recognition from the Academy of Chocolate and the International Chocolate Salon.Prior to Stella’s, I was Cameo.com’s first General Counsel/Corporate Secretary/in-house counsel and was responsible for all US and international legal issues, including managing in-house and outside counsel. During my tenure, Cameo raised Series B and Series C rounds, acquired a company, and grew from 20 U.S. employees to over 400 global employees. During my career, I have garnered extensive experience in the following areas: technology, consumer/CPG, B2B, content, corporate and commercial transactions (including M&A, debt financing and pay per view television events), intellectual property, employment, advertising, marketing, enterprise risk management, and entertainment matters. I\'ve worked on behalf of a variety of clients, from early-stage tech to Fortune 100 companies, across a variety of industries and sectors, including consumer/CPG, entertainment, content, healthcare, technology, and financial services.Prior to Cameo, I founded the Law Offices of Amy K. Singh, P.C, was General Counsel/Senior Vice President of DDB Chicago (a member of Omnicom Group Inc.(NYSE:OMC)), Associate General Counsel at Leo Burnett USA, Inc.(a member of the Publicis Groupe), and an Associate at Sidley Austin LLP. In addition to practicing law, I work with philanthropic organizations to promote gender and racial equity and educational access. I was honored with a 2018 Diversity Award from the Black Women Lawyers’ Association of Greater Chicago, Inc. for promoting diversity and advising the organization. I\'m a National Board Member for Mikva Challenge; a member of the Impact Investing Advisory Counsel for YWCA Metropolitan Chicago; and sit on the Strategic Initiatives Advisory Board for the Metropolitan Capital Bank. I was appointed by President Barack Obama to the President’s Advisory Committee on the Arts for the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
