I’ve always believed in living life to ones fullest potential all the time. I believe you must reach for success consistently to avoid complacency. We should always be giving more than we receive. Faith, Family, Focus, Repeat! Desire to Inspire! Take better care of those who have taken care of us. These are some statements of belief that have been instilled in me by my parents, grandparents and greatest mentors along this journey called life. Words and beliefs to live in and by. Most people spend an entire lifetime searching for their passion. I have been lucky enough to find mine and enjoy a meaningful career. Over the past 20 plus years I have been in the Senior Living field. It’s my calling, It’s my passion and I couldn’t imagine doing anything else. I started as a Payroll Clerk, was quickly promoted to a Business Office Manager, became a Director of Finance for a bit and then returned to my BOD roots, put myself through a self led AIT program to reach my goal of becoming an Executive Director in my field and was able to reach that goal in December of 2021. I have had some amazing opportunities to serve as an Executive Director in the interim capacity prior to that, that only fueled my passion to reach that goal. Something that you will never forget is that person and company who believed in you enough to give you that first official title. Thank you Veritas Senior Living and Matt Fox! Dreams really do come true. I was proud to serve as the Executive Director for East Ridge Residence for 3 years before moving onto the next phase in my senior living career adding assisted living and memory care to my tool belt with a Discovery Senior Living Manco. And most recently I have been blessed to join the Brookdale Mount Vernon. A full memory care community that’s close to my home. This will be the first time in 15 years I’ve been back home and I couldn’t be more thankful & excited for it. There is nothing more rewarding than serving those who spent a lifetime serving us. Having cared for my ailing grandparents and In-laws and one day my parents, I feel my first hand knowledge of the aging process, coupled with my tenured financial experience will only aid in making me fully equipped to handle my dream job. I will always remain grateful to all of those who have invested in mentoring me along the way. To all of those who have believed in me, supported me and encouraged me to keep reaching for the stars.
