About Amy S. Ooi
My approach to litigation is shaped by years spent inside a major financial institution’s legal department, where business leaders expect legal advice that is practical, strategic, and aligned with real-world business priorities.Having worked inside a major corporation, I understand how executives think about risk, cost, and operational impact — and I approach every case with that perspective in mind. Before turning to the practice of law, I studied and taught music theory and ethnomusicology, earning a master’s degree from the University of Arizona and teaching as an adjunct professor at the University of Arizona School of Music. I later pursued doctoral studies in music theory at the University of North Texas before focusing on the practice of law — a path that reflects both intellectual curiosity and disciplined analysis.I always welcome the opportunity to connect with colleagues and friends in the legal and business communities.
