Physician, laboratory Director and Clinical Researcher- Huge experience in Program development as demonstrated by moving the Point of care program from a small glucose based program to a multi analyte, comprehensive program involved in excellent patient care, clinical outcomes research and device development.Skills include strategic planning,outcomes analysis,research design, and operations. In addition to the Point of Care program, built the Virology laboratory into a State of the Art Molecular Diagnostic Facility and currently functions as an Advisor to the Molecular infectious Diseases group. I have expertise in management, operations, scientific development and clinical trial work.Have successfully mentored over 100 students over the course of my career. Am a sought after advisor and mentor to students, staff and faculty.I oversee clinical translational research for our Department and have built a sustainable model for research support within and without our institution.
