ABOUT AMY POWELL
I am a motivated and enthusiastic property professional with over a decade of experience in a commercially competitive environment. With a foundation in commercial sales and lettings, having managed a lettings branch for an independent Oxfordshire estate agency, a career change to planning came in 2019. Through the RTPI\'s apprenticeship course I became a Chartered Member of the RTPI in May 2022 - one of the first apprentices to successfully complete the apprenticeship. With a strong educational background, having completed a Bachelors degree in Geography at The University of Southampton and a Masters Degree in Chartered Town Planning from London South Bank University my passion lies with the built environment. I relish the opportunity to work with other likeminded professionals to contribute to the planning discourse through my professional network, roles within the RTPI and supporting fellow young planners. Whilst on a day to day basis I get to work on inspiring development projects across the UK and support private and public organizations achieve their aspirations. These roles continually challenge me to extend my knowledge, expertise and professionalism on a day to day basis and accords with my drive for continued professional development.
