The Massachusetts Society of CPAs is a non-profit organization consisting of approximately members, state-wide. Members range from practicing public accountants in large national firms, to single practitioners, to teachers of accounting, to accountants employed in government, industry or the non-profit world. As President and CEO, I have the responsibility of overall management and oversight of the Society, Educational Foundation and Massachusetts CPA PAC. This includes: planning, policy recommendation, coordinating and implementing the decisions of the Board of Directors and assistance to Board officers, committee chairs and the membership as they work to attain the objectives of the Society to protect and promote the value of being a CPA in Massachusetts.
