As seen on CNN, The Dr. Phil Show, A&E’s Addiction Unplugged, CBS Morning News, and the Pulitzer Prize winning piece Seven Days of Heroin. Developed the clinical role of the peer recovery supporter at Brightview, as the founding PRS. Assisted with the development of the community outreach team, the criminal justice reporting process as well as medication verification for patient inmates. I rebranded the largest recovery housing organization in Cincinnati, including increasing available beds for those who are prescribed medications for recovery like Suboxone. In 2022 I developed an organization & a novel approach to recovery housing for individuals who are prescribed medications for recovery like suboxone & methadone. Sunstone is a model of recovery housing that promotes rapid restabilization for residents engaging in outpatient services who are prescribed medications like suboxone, and those leaving detox, inpatient treatment and those re-entering society after incarceration. Now with Boulder Care, where I am 150% aligned with the mission, I was the first community engagement liaison and have grown to become the associate director of community engagement. From developing important referral relationships, streamlining access for patients needing MOUD and expanding our community engagement model across the country. We are built different on purpose!
