About Amy Padula
I am an Associate Professor with experience designing, analyzing and interpreting studies of environmental and social factors during pregnancy on health. More specifically, I conduct research on the wildfire smoke and environmental chemicals, namely per- and polyfluorinated alkyl substances (PFAS), in relation to maternal conditions and birth outcomes. Additionally, I have experience communicating chemical results to study participants through a smartphone interface designed by the Silent Spring Institute (Digital Exposure Report Back Interface, DERBI).
