This position was eliminated during a restructuring in response to federal funding changes.• One of two directors, reporting to a senior director, providing strategic leadership of organizational structure, staffing, people management, and all technical work. • Coached and mentored a team of up to 13 direct reports (span of 21), including division/team leads, people and project managers, research scientists, and clinicians.• Led a two-year,$2 million contract to develop a caregiver burden measure for the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation (CMMI) Guiding an Improved Dementia Experience (GUIDE) Model. This complex, rapid-development contract had 6 team members, 5 subject matter experts, 6 subcontractors, and 3 external workgroups. Direct accountability for quality of work, resource allocation and utilization, timeline, and client relationship.• Strategic leadership and accountability for a five-year,$24 million CMS contract to create, develop, and implement healthcare quality measures in outpatient settings. Work included measures based on claims, patient-reported outcomes, and electronic clinical quality data. All work completed on time and on budget, despite multiple budget reductions and shifting client priorities.• Led the ideation, creation, and development of new quality measures for outpatient settings as Director for Outpatient Research and Development Division, comprised of 8 teams with 30 total staff.• Led the CORE-wide Project Management Office (PMO)(dotted-line report to executive director) while an external candidate was sourced.
