About Amy Morrison

As the Manager of Workforce Training at Sheetz, Ms. Morrison is responsible for developing and managing the execution of the Workforce Development strategy to ensure a fully trained and high performing workforce for the organization. In this role, Ms. Morrison oversees the instructional design, performance development specialist and training compliance teams. Ms. Morrison led a team at Sheetz committed to the alignment and execution of the IT Strategy and IT daily operations. In her role, she also provided expert guidance and assistance to all of the business units within Sheetz to understand the challenges, efficiencies, and opportunities when leveraging information technology solutions. From the previous role as the Manager of IT Business Partners, she continued to build relationships between IT and business units to be a trusted partner; representing the needs of the business units to technical planning groups in IT; and providing input back to the business units on new trends and innovations. Ms. Morrison served on CTC’s Leadership Team as a Director within the Capabilities Organization at Concurrent Technologies Corporation (CTC). She possessed over 18 years of experience in management, research and development and deployment of advanced technologies for both government and industry. She was responsible for the management of a staff of 40 and oversight of the highly visible projects that each support, including educational product/program development, instructional design, multimedia development, video development, communication and outreach as well as advances in multi-player, gaming and virtual learning environments. Her duties included evaluating and monitoring employee performance, resource management, addressing personnel issues, consulting, mentoring and supporting career development, recruitment, and enforcing compliance and awareness of CTC policies. Her responsibilities also included the support of business and organizational development for learning and human performance solutions and technologies.
