   Supervised a staff of 15 union Mechanics and Watch Engineers working 24/7 to maintain the safety and operational excellence of an 873-room hotel in Times Square- Balanced staff workloads, using CMMS for preventative maintenance and other apps to communicate with Guest Services, Housekeeping, and Front Office to respond to urgent guest concerns- Coordinated various contractors\' work within the building to ensure guests had positive customer service experiences and encountered minimal disruption to their stays- Managed vendor relationships and handled all purchasing, tech support, and HR compliance for the Engineering Department- Selected by leadership to inspect sister hotel in advance of annual audit and advised on areas of improvement, allowing them to resolve staff service and safety issues prior to audit- Organized annual hotel-wide preparations for Fire & Life Safety Audits, resolving all potential issues, resulting in a passing score- Encouraged under-represented groups to choose facilities management as a career path: spearheaded Marriott International’s 2023 recognition of “Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day” and partnered with nonprofit group to provide young women the opportunity to see behind the scenes of hospitality engineering.
