About Amy Klein

As a company builder and product innovator, Amy’s experience and success sit at the crossroads of food, strategy, building investor value and brand to develop market performing products and scalable businesses. 20 years ago, Amy began working in Food. Amy currently leads teams through innovation pipeline creation, product development, global regulatory compliance, food safety and quality programming, supply chain creation, including raw materials and packaging qualification and manufacturing technology validations. Previously focused in the food service, CPG and DTC meal kit channels. Amy’s passion is focused on new to this world approaches to solving ever evolving consumer needs, with an eye to emerging agricultural and processing technologies while delivering products that delight. She has collaborated with many big players in the food world, i.e. Nestle, the Mars Global Innovation Group, Dannon, McCormick’s, Stoneyfield, Heinz, Organic Valley, and Panera Bread. Previous to Before Brands, as the VP of Innovation and Founding Executive Chef at Revolution Foods, Amy joined the co-founders and set out to disrupt the status quo in the $18 billion school food service marketplace. As an officer of the company and a member of the executive team, Amy lead a cross functional team who created a new food platform for the industry. With Amy’s pursuit of culinary excellence and business acumen, Revolution Foods has delivered access to kid-inspired, chef-crafted meals nation-wide and achieved rapid growth with $185M in revenue. She has done extensive work with food leaders to identify how to create scalable sustainable food systems, was three times sent as a delegate to Slow Foods Terra Madre in Turin, Italy and four times asked to teach Colonels from the National Defense University Agribusiness Industry class.
