In my capacity, I play an integral role in stimulating operational efficiency in all phases of ocular surgeries by streamlining the pre-op planning process for Cataract, Refractive Lens Exchange, Pterygium, and Blepharoplasty surgeries. I increase patient satisfaction by offering education and helping them decide on the IOL that works best for their expectations. I also ensure patient compliance by providing detailed pre- and post-operative instructions to patients undergoing eye surgeries.With my key performance, I promote smoother post-op recovery by following established dry eye protocols, including Prokera/CAM360, as needed prior to surgery. I improve patient outcomes by facilitating co-management between the clinic and Optometrist (OD) offices. Lastly, I enhance overall clinic productivity by assisting with patient flow and preparations for YAG laser treatments.
