About Amy
As a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Connecticut, I contribute to studying protein-protein interactions in bacteriophage P22 within Dr. Teschke\'s lab. My work involves protein purification techniques such as SEC, IEC, FPLC, and MS, as well as analyzing protein structures and stability using Circular Dichroism and other advanced methodologies. Currently pursuing an MS in Cell and Molecular Biology at UConn with a concentration in Structural Biology, Biochemistry, and Biophysics, I aim to leverage my expertise in protein analysis and research experience in the pharmaceutical industry. My prior role as a BIOL1107 Teaching Assistant honed my public speaking and scientific presentation abilities, which I bring to collaborative and fast-paced environments.
