Mentor eight new Learning Assistants who are learning to teach Social Psychology, Calculus, Literature, Chemistry, Writing, and Environmental Studies. Meet one-on-one and in weekly pedagogy classes to set goals and help increase their confidence and competence in their first semester of teaching students (August-present). Collaborate with other LA Mentors on effective peer mentoring practices. Promoted in May 2025 to be a Learning Assistant Mentor. Learning Assistant for \"Communication Theory\" within the College of Communication, Media, Design and Information, August-present Help 95 students learn multiple theories of communication addressing a variety of personal, relational, group, organizational, and social problems with the goals of increasing students\' understanding and improvement in human communication.Learning Assistant for \"Business and Professional Communication\" within the College of Communication, Media, Design and Information, January-May 2025 Collaborated with 27 students individually and in groups to help students learn workplace communication concepts and skills including techniques for effective presentations, teamwork, conflict resolution skills, customer relations, workplace diversity, HR technologies, and the value of communication in professional life.
