WORK HISTORY
Programme Manager @Springer Nature
As Programme Manager, I am responsible for the publication of the ISRCTN clinical study registry, which supports transparency and openness in the clinical research landscape.I am accountable for the growth and development of the registry, working closely with the ISRCTN board, WHO’s ICTRP network, Health Research Authority and National Institute of Health Research. Additionally, I sit on the Be Part of Research advisory group.I oversee the registry’s team of Senior Registry Editors, who uphold rigorous editorial standards, maintain strong customer relationships and provide excellent experience for anyone registering a study with us. At any one time, I am managing several ongoing projects ensuring that we make registering clinical studies as easy as possible. The clinical study landscape is ever-evolving and driven by legislation, meaning another part of my role encompasses developing and implementing editorial policy in line with this. To supplement this, I regularly represent ISRCTN and BMC at conferences and events. I prepare and maintain oversight of the registry’s budget each year, ensuring it remains on track throughout.
