With over 15 years of experience in the nonprofit and corporate social responsibility sector, I am a driven and passionate leader who strives to create positive and lasting change for the LGBTQ+ youth community. As the Interim Chief Executive Officer and Chief Development Officer at Hetrick-Martin Institute, I oversee the strategic direction, operations, and fundraising of the nation\'s largest and oldest organization serving LGBTQ+ youth of color. I have a proven track record of building and managing effective and diverse teams, developing and executing innovative and impactful programs, and cultivating and sustaining strong relationships with donors, partners, and stakeholders. Some of my recent achievements include securing a $10 million grant from a major foundation, launching a new online platform to expand the reach and accessibility of our services, and leading a successful rebranding and communications campaign to increase our visibility and reputation. I am also the founder and president of Sonora Strategies, a consulting firm that provides strategic advice and solutions to nonprofits and corporations on social good initiatives.
