About Amy Hall

I am an associate attorney at Susman Godfrey in Houston, Texas, where I represent a variety of clients in federal court, state court, the International Trade Commission, and Arbitration.I graduated in 2020 with high honors from the University of Texas School of Law, where I was named Keeper of the Peregrinus for the Chancellors Class of 2020, awarded to the student(s) with the 4th highest GPA. There, I also served as the Chief Articles Editor for the Texas Law Review. I received the \"Dean\'s Achievement Award\"(awarded to the top student among those with the highest grade) in four of my law school classes. After graduation, I clerked for the Hon. Leslie H. Southwick on the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Before law school, I attended the University of Mississippi, earning a BA in Economics and Public Policy Leadership with a minor in Business Administration. I graduated summa cum laude from the Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College, and for my senior thesis, I conducted an experiment in the Mississippi Economic Research Lab. I was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa, Phi Kappa Phi, and received a Taylor Medal—the highest academic award. The student body elected me in a campus-wide election to the Executive Board of the Associated Student Body government.
