About Amy Hage
Ultimately, my job is about people. We’re complex beings, constantly thinking, and often doing a million things. We humans have a lot to navigate and it can overwhelm our brains, impede our productivity, and muddle our perspective. I get it and that’s why I help remarkable people, like you, manage their day with confidence and ease. As the founder of Focus & Fuel, I’ve developed a robust coaching program that enhances focus, fosters positive mindsets, and reduces stress. It enables individuals to understand how their thoughts and actions impact their progress and overcome obstacles. By discovering small-adjustments that yield significant results, they strengthen their overall well-being. Throughout my career, I have focused on understanding the intersection of leadership and wellness. Leading groups and individuals through life skills workshops is my happy place, covering topics such as effective communication, active listening, team building, decision making, the power of sleep, substance abuse prevention, and making healthy choices. It is here that I have witnessed the fundamental role that self-awareness and strong interpersonal skills have on a person’s ability to straddle challenge with success. Helping people succeed and feel good doing it excites me. Along with experience and programs, I bring certifications to my coaching: • Master’s of Education, specializing in Organizations and Leadership, University of San Francisco • Certified Executive Function & ADHD Coach, University of New Hampshire • Certified Youth and Teen Coach, University of New Hampshire • Certificate in the Foundations of Positive Psychology, University of Pennsylvania • Certificate in Resilience Skills, University of Pennsylvania I bring an attitude of growth and adventure too: • I love to travel, especially to faraway places. • I believe in the power of experience. • I enjoy skiing UP as much as I like going down. • I am a sucker for a good sunrise. • I swam 9.5 miles on a beautiful Sunday in August. • I bring my camera wherever I go. • I\'ve completed long-distance triathlons, but DIY endurance events are my favorite. especially when done with friends.
