About Amy Guder
Amy Guder is vice president of Software for Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS). Named to the role in August of 2025, Amy oversees the development and test of software for defense, government, space and intelligence business ensuring customer commitments are met or exceeded. Prior to her current role, Guder served as the Space, Intelligence and Weapon Systems divisional software leader and was the BDS interim Software leader from March of 2025.Guder established the first Software division level capability for Space and Launch in 2020. Previously, she led the software effort for the X-37B Space Plane from the program’s inception through multiple successful missions. Beginning as an intern during college and remaining with the company since, Guder has made software contributions to multiple maritime efforts, numerous space programs including the International Space Station and Commercial Crew Starliner prior to stepping into software leadership at the functional level.Guder holds a Bachelor of Science in Information and Computer Science from the University of California, Irvine and a Master of Science from the University of Southern California.
