ABOUT AMY GATTO

Growing up, I always looked forward to family game night full of strategy, competition, and conversation. Just like in a board game, I am enthralled by the process of getting from start to finish using data and strategy. Throughout my life I have developed the art of being able to connect the dots - for stakeholders, funders, colleagues, and consumers of my programs - to ensure processes flow and outcomes are met. I excel in managing multiple projects at once and cross-collaborating with teams and stakeholders. I utilize leadership and communication techniques to implement strategy grounded in data, research, and best practices while keeping the end-user in mind.Vast experience in behavior change, mental health promotion, and working across the lifespan has allowed me to build departments that better understand impact, and therefore create lasting change. I identify problems and implement tactical solutions, ultimately working towards making a positive impact on people, organizations, and society at large.Like in the board games from my childhood, I am happiest when I can use my experience to plan how to move from start to finish and execute that plan. This is so ingrained in me - just ask my travel companions, DIY home improvement crew (thanks Mom, Dad, and Joel!), and my yoga teachers and students.
