ABOUT AMY FOSTER

1st Class Honours Degree in MA International Business Management with Human Resource Management (HRM) at Heriot Watt University & Edinburgh Business School (2021). From my time at university, and throughout my early career, I continue to broaden my knowledge of varying business environments, both across the UK, and internationally. I have collaborated with people from all over the world and I\'m motivated by seeing others succeed in all areas of life and work.I have a keen interest in People Management, and the area of Human Resource Management, which stems from my education, but also my personality. I am also keen to learn more about business process, operations and development, and would love the opportunity to be part of a team that can analyse and improve any areas of weakness. I believe that learning never stops and I wish to keep learning in every job I undertake. I am committed to developing my skills in a variety of industries, having experience in HR, FMCG & Banking. What distinguishes me from others- I am a hard-working, reliable and trustworthy individual who enjoys working with others collaboratively in a team, but can work independently when required- I have strong interpersonal skills, which allows for clear and effective communication with colleagues, employers & stakeholders- I am passionate and optimistic about making a difference… no matter how big or small- I am confident in tackling ambitious projects which impact the various stakeholders.I define success as \'what you make it.\' If you are passionate about something I believe that drive will allow you to succeed. I also believe fundamentally, if you are not enjoying what you are doing, then it is unlikely that you are going to be successful. My interests include playing golf, I have a handicap of 7 and have won the Ladies Club Championship at Ratho Park Golf Club and Dalmahoy Hotel & Country Club. I also enjoy photography, musical theatre, and singing in choirs.
