I am a partnership expert and senior program strategist with core subject matter expertise spanning issues that concern older adults – housing, retirement, debt, and general financial wellness. With significant experience in strategy planning and all aspects of the grant funding process, I cultivate, build, and manage partnerships that not only secure funding and properly steward it, but also positively impact vulnerable older adults in a way that demonstrates respect and dignity.As a true partner, I work beyond business development to fully engage and collaborate with other organizations to deliver much-needed services in housing, debt management, counseling, and education. Throughout my career at Silvernest, National Council on Aging (NCOA), and NeighborWorks America, I’ve worked directly with Fannie Mae, AmeriCorps, VA, Area Agencies on Aging, Nationwide Financial, the Wells Fargo Housing Foundation, Retirement Research Foundation (RFF), HUD, FHA and more. I’ve been both a grantee and a grantor. I understand the nuances of applying for, winning, and managing grants, as well as the due diligence involved in awarding grants. My sharpness in project and program implementation combined with keen insight into effectively screening, supporting, and challenging applications enables me to establish excellence across all aspects of grant management.Known as a thought leader, influencer, and advocate, I bring a significant history of presenting, public speaking, and on the record statements to the media, industry organizations, and national forums.
