ABOUT AMY FIELDING

I specialise in high value Claimant life-changing clinical negligence claims with over 18 years\' experience. Previously working as a nurse I cared for people who had suffered a whole range of conditions and injuries. I then retrained and pursued a career in medical law. Since joining Stewarts in 2010 I have specialised in cases where my clients have all sustained spinal cord. brain or birth related injuries. I also have extensive experience in fatal claims brought by the families particularly for high net worth individuals. I particularly deal with nursing care claims which have led to my clients suffering severe pressure injuries usually in clients with prior catastrophic spinal injuries. I regularly deal with complex liability issues and have extensive litigation experience in the High Court. I am a Senior Associate in the Clinical Negligence team at Stewarts who moved from London to the Leeds office in February 2019.
