I currently serve as an appointed Board of Trustee member for the Carnegie of Homestead (CLoH), a 126-year-old institution commissioned by Andrew Carnegie in 1898. This massive structure includes a library, athletic club, pool, one-thousand seat music hall and archive room. This historic resource serves the communities of the eastern borough of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.As a trustee, the Board sets the policy of the institution and helps to ensure that directives are met. In my role, I help to work with the staff to aid in whatever capacity of the Capital Campaign we are seeking to meet. Currently, the Carnegie of Homestead is undergoing a multi-million-dollar renovation to update this historic landmark.
