As the Officer, Regional Affairs, my role is to-Community Development and building partnerships with community members and local businesses -Community Impact to effect change over a larger area including issues that affect children and youth, violence against women, isolation, mental health, seniors and financial difficulties -Promote the positive impact United Way Lanark County is able to make within our communities, and the number of lives we are able to touch and change through much needed donor support-Build and strengthen United Way Lanark County’s relationships with organizations, people and businesses within Lanark County and Smiths Falls, to build a strong community and create possibility.
