About Amy Chesler
As a former educator-turned-writer with a degree in Psychology, I now use my creativity and understanding of human nature to produce ethical, victim-centric true crime content. My grief, domestic violence, and parenting-related work has appeared in many major media publications. Included in that list is Scary Mommy, Chicken Soup for the Soul (6 times over), Something Was Wrong, IDtv’s Evil Lives Here, Netflix, BuzzFeed Parents, Awestruck, and much more. My writing even scored me the title of BlogHer Voice of the Year in 2017, which is an honor I share with the likes of Chelsea Clinton and Gwyneth Paltrow. I also have experience in website management & SEO as Corey Feldman’s personal website manager for many years. Personally, I am also a survivor of domestic violence; my mother, however, is not. Thus, I have also added over sixteen years of legal/criminal justice system ‘navigation’ to my personal resume as well. Relatedly, all of these experiences have lent to my rich perspective and approach to humanistic, intuitive media.
