Our lead Neuroscience molecule (NE3107) is currently being investigated in human clinical studies to assess its hypothesized impact on both Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s. Exploring the possibilities of improved outcomes, fewer medical burdens, and more time at home. In our cirrhosis studies, we are working to learn if our exploratory technology can help individuals who have been diagnosed with cirrhosis-related ascites (fluid that builds up inside the abdomen) to be more comfortable, to require fewer or less frequent medical procedures to drain ascites fluid, and to see if the treatment can help people with ascites to live outside of the hospital for longer periods of time. BioVie is currently investigating BIV-201, a novel formulation of terlipressin, in human clinical trials. In BioVie’s studies of BIV-201, the exploratory medication is provided as a continuous infusion formulation delivered by a small, portable pump that the user can wear while engaging in typical tasks and activities at home.
