About Amy Calvert
Amy Calvert is a thoughtful, strategic, and award-winning leader in the Television Industry. With 29 plus years of experience in Television, Sales, Marketing and Production, Amy currently serves as Vice President and General Manager of KOKH FOX 25 and KOCB in Oklahoma City, and KTUL Channel 8 in Tulsa, OK, all Sinclair properties. She was the VP/GM at KJRH 2News Oklahoma, the Scripps owned NBC affiliate in Tulsa, Oklahoma. As a General Manager, Calvert is dedicated to being an advocate and vital service provider for local business partners and the larger Oklahoma community. She’s a life-long Tulsan and a leader in community building. Prior to her role at KOKH, KOCB and KJRH, Calvert was General Manager of one of the top-rated Religious Television Stations and Network in the Country. During her time with KGEB/GEB America, Calvert launched their national network and expanded their reach across multiple digital platforms, including over 55 million households. Through her vision and leadership, GEB achieved record breaking sales every year, and in 2016 KGEB TV 53 was recognized by the National Religious Broadcasters as their Station of the Year. Earlier in her career, Calvert was also recruited by TV Guide Networks to run all their daily Productions – managing a team of Producers, Editors and Creative Designers for around the clock 24-hour productions. Throughout her career, every step has created unique opportunities for Calvert to continually develop and expand her communications and business development skills. Calvert has incredible passion for rising to a challenge and finding innovative ways to achieve new levels of success. Her approach to business and life is success through strong and thoughtful leadership. Amy serves on the board of directors for the Oklahoma Association of Broadcasters and was the first female broadcasting Chair from 20••••24. She is a part of the Tulsa Regional Chamber Board of Directors, and a board member of the Child Advocacy Network of Tulsa. Her greatest success is being a mom to her 16-year-old Daughter Avery and 8-year-old daughter Kinsey, and wife to her husband Chris. Amy loves to sing and travel and enjoys spending time at the Lake with her family.
