ABOUT AMY BURRELL
I’m energised by unravelling complexity and finding ways to make things work better, whether it’s a delicate biological process or the dynamics of a large, cross-functional team. That curiosity first led me into Biomedical Science at the University of Queensland and later into immunology research on skin-resident T cells in Germany.I then spent several years immersed in cell therapy at Sangamo Therapeutics, refining CAR-Treg development processes and learning how precision, clarity, and collaboration drive progress in high-stakes environments. Those experiences showed me that systems only work when people feel safe, supported, and trusted to do their best work.Today at GenHive, I apply the same mindset to human performance and Agile delivery, helping teams align around purpose, collaborate effectively, and build lasting ways of working. I’m currently completing my PSM II and continuing to grow as a leader in Agile and organisational transformation.Outside of work, I’m passionate about animal care and conservation, photography, and graphic design.
