GS-0025-14Lead operations and strategic direction for four parks, with a focus on budget responsibility, visitor experience, and employee engagement. Coordinating successful partnerships with six philanthropic organizations, several land preservation partners, and shared site management with the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA). Effectively leading seven high-functioning teams within the parks, while engaging approximately 91 employees. Oversee a base budget of approximately $7.5 million with a highly successful PMIS project program averaging $4 million per year to reduce Deferred Maintenance, preserve historic assets, and increase visitor understanding and enjoyment at the sites. Champion open lines of communication and feedback from employees and partners to encourage engagement, empowerment, and effective operations. Set direction and priorities for natural and cultural resource management and preservation over approximately 1,200 acres of federal land while working with land preservation partners for the acquisition of additional acres. Connect park recreation trails with neighbors to provide over 33 miles of trails throughout the town of Hyde Park and beyond.
