Experience
Medical Lead, Translational Science, Iron Portfolio
Feb 2020 — Present · Glattbrugg, CH
In this position I am able to leverage my extensive translational science expertise in nephrology, iron biology, pre-clinical and clinical research to facilitate experimental design, pragmatic execution and communication of iron-carbohydrate nanomedicine-focused pre-clinical, clinical and RWE studies. Multi-faceted communication strategies via a wide array of publication types (eg original research, reviews, press releases and educational modules) are key in setting the stage to accelerate research and practice changes. These research paradigms and communication efforts are contextualized with contemporary positions and guidance from professional organizations and global regulatory agencies. I also conduct needs assessments to understand stakeholder knowledge gaps around fundamental iron deficiency concepts and develop educational materials using active learning and other effective pedagogical techniques.
