About Amy Bailey

Amy Bailey is the Director of Climate Resilience and Sustainability at C2ES. In this role, she identifies emerging approaches and solutions for climate change resilience and increases information sharing between cities, states, the federal government and companies. Amy manages the Alliance for a Sustainable Future initiative and leads C2ES\'s participation in the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) Climate READi Initiative. She also serves on the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Advisory Board of Stanley Black and Decker.Amy has managed C2ES\' work on the Climate Leadership Conference and the award-winning activities of the Make an Impact program, an employee-focused energy efficiency partnership between C2ES and corporate and community partners. Prior to joining C2ES, Amy conducted research at the Nicholas Institute for Environmental Policy Solutions, where she documented and assessed local climate and sustainability policies in the southeast and provided guidance for state-level climate vulnerability assessment projects. She also served as Secretary on the Board of Directors of Clean Energy Durham and worked with the City of Atlanta’s Division of Sustainability and the Sustainability Office for the city and county of Durham, North Carolina.Amy began her career as a high school biology and chemistry teacher. She holds a master’s degree in environmental management from Duke University’s Nicholas School of the Environment.
