Amudha Chinnaswamy leads the ADM Practice at Cognizant & untill recently GenAI Strategy & Execution at Cognizant’s Application Development & Management - Software Engineering Group. In this pivotal role, she focuses on driving practice strategy, offerings, business case and POV’s fostering its widespread adoption, and strategizing comprehensive change management programs for execution. With over 27 years of IT experience, Amudha has spearheaded strategic planning, finance, budgeting, and technology consulting for global business clients across North America, Europe, and Australia. She has successfully managed large transformation programs for major banks in the United States & executed from client locations. Additionally, played crucial role in establishing Global Capability Centers for various clients & consultant for GCC BOT deals.Throughout her career, Amudha has excelled in delivery leadership roles, overseeing multi-million-dollar deliveries, commercials, and sales for financial services, communications media, & retail clients worldwide. Her expertise extends to core corporate programs critical within the practice.Her journey began as a developer at Cognizant, and she actively engages in the tech topics in communities for Java, Microsoft, Mainframe, and AS400 developers, and her tech talks cover topics such as gen AI, IoT, 5G, and Edge Computing. Beyond technology, she is committed to inclusion and diversity initiatives. She was recognized at the “Women in Tech India” 2020 event, celebrating women leaders, innovators, and disruptors across the country. Additionally, she was a finalist in the “Women in Tech - APAC” emerging leaders’ category in 2021, hosted in Singapore. Her certification as an Independent “Women Board of Director” in Ministry of Corporate Affairs directors database by the Government of India further underscores her impact.She embarked on her journey with Cognizant in 1998 as a campus recruit. With an Engineering degree in Electronics & Communication, she also honed her expertise through multiple Technology, Business Management, and Financial Accounting courses from esteemed global management schools. Amudha completed her entire school education at Kendriya Vidyalaya & Indian Airforce School Coimbatore.Her impact extends beyond her professional achievements.
