As the full-time founder of Dre’s Beauty Supply, I am leading the development of a mission-driven beauty retail brand and community hub focused on hair care, wellness, and education for Black and Brown women. My work includes building our brand identity from the ground up, growing an engaged online community on Instagram and LinkedIn, and showcasing the journey to opening our physical storefront in Downtown Newark.I actively participate in networking events and business pitch competitions, securing funding and support while forming strategic partnerships with other local entrepreneurs. I’ve completed four (4) semester-long entrepreneurship courses and regularly attend business webinars to strengthen my skills. I\'m also building out our marketing strategy using Canva, and receiving personalized business coaching to help navigate operations and growth.Currently, I’m focused on securing a brick-and-mortar space that will serve as both a retail store and community space for wellness workshops, hair care education, and celebration of Black beauty and creativity.
