About Amruthavarshini Vasundhara Narayanan

I am a curious, innovative and resilient person willing to learn and grow in a new environment. I have always been an active person in academia as well as extra-curricular activities. I have completed my Master\'s in Science in Computer Engineering (Electrical Engineering) with specialization in Digital design/ Physical design and implementation. I am amazed by how many functionalities can be developed and modified in smart devices by designing ICs that have low consumption but high performance over the decades and with Moore’s law and how much this advancement has been making life easy and exciting at the same time. I chose my major to be in digital IC design and have worked with softwares like Cadence Virtuoso, Innovus, Wave viewer, DC compiler while designing a 2 bit adder and a Convolution + Max pooling engine design (RTL to GDSII) using verilog programming and basics of tcl in 7nm PDK technology. I have assisted two of my professors in their project research works and designed a Time-to-Digital Converter (Multichannel Ring Oscillator based time interval measurement with Bin-Width Calibration) and submitted and got accepted by the NCCS, Springer Journal on submitting a paper on “Comparative approach for the design of delay lines in TDC Architectures.” We also designed a SMARTKART, an IoT based automatic moving cart based on user speed tracking with Bluetooth.I have been a member of several student organizations like the the Institution of Engineers-India (IEI) and English Club through school and college and have led the team in several corporate contests Texas Instruments-India Innovation Challenge Design Contest on presenting an idea on SMARTKART and proceeded to the Semi-finals and also won the first prize in presenting it as a paper in the 5th National Conference in the IEI. I am also the proud recipient of the \"Best Student Award\" by the Institution of Engineers, India in March 2019. I was an Editor for the college magazine, Emcee at some college events, Organizer and Head of Contests in HON-E-KEN 2020 technical Symposium, Vice-Chairman and Secretary of Student Chapter.I love exploring and expanding my horizons and looking forward to all the exciting opportunities in the future.
