He went from scaling challenges to platform problems. He mentored three mid-level engineers to senior level, helped shape their promotion stories, and watched them influence architectural decisions across the organization. That was more fulfilling than any individual technical contribution.At Salesforce, Amritesh architected systems that wouldn’t have broken at scale. The Entity Interface feature he designed was used by 10%+ of all Salesforce queries. But what he is most proud of? The data infrastructure patterns he established that became org-wide standards and the team members he helped grow into technical leaders.At Expedia, Amritesh took a “one business line, one platform” problem and solved it architecturally—designing a Reviews Platform flexible enough that 5+ business lines could onboard in days, not months.Recent Interests: Amritesh is fascinated by how modern AI and LLMs are reshaping infrastructure requirements.
